Decorative Concrete Kits and Bold Rugs – The Perfect Combo

If you read through a lot of my blog posts you’ll notice that I preach about decorative concrete floors with area rugs.

Though decorative concrete floor coatings are just that – decorative – most people don’t need or want highly advanced artistic floors. Basic earth tones of grays or browns are the most popular.

Like with hardwood or tile area rugs will provide the decorative solution and add some warmth.

I found a great site that you might want to bookmark called Bold Rugs. They specialize in area rugs. Bold Rugs has numerous options in many themes. You could have a basic brownish concrete acid stain floor and create the interior image you want by choosing the correct area rug.

Small area rugs can be put at doorways where the most wear and tear occurs, then use larger area rugs as runners in hallways and larger ones in the center of the floor.

The beauty of area rugs is that they can be rolled up and sent out for cleaning. If they get ruined just replace with new ones.

Area rugs will give you lots of flexibilty with design and color. Once down the area rugs create the focus on the floor. Now you can work with more wall colors and your decorative concrete floor becomes an accent instead of a focus just like with hardwood.

Bold Rugs has a great niche and is an excellent resource when you are considering decorative concrete or any other flooring.
