Please Read and Help If Possible

I just received this e-mail from Elite Crete . Prayers and donations are needed!

Normally you receive our monthly newsletters pertaining to products and training. Unfortunately this email is of more of a serious nature and we ask for your prayers.

On May 23rd 2008, JR Litehiser a decorative concrete contractor in Oregon was seriously injured while working. JR suffered burns to 80% of his body and is still in a medically induced coma while he recovers. Although JR continues to show improvement, he still has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

JR’s wife Jennifer has been so strong through all of this and continues to be by his side. JR and Jennifer also have two boys. Because JR was injured in Portland but lives in Bend, Oregon which is over 3 hours away, the travel for Jennifer is expensive.

We are still unclear as to whether or not JR was or will be covered by a workers comp insurance policy.

If you wish to help, donations for the family can be sent to:

JR Litehiser Fund
U.S. Bank
1025 NW Bond St.
Bend, OR 97701

JR’s family has sent up a website for providing information and updates about JR. Here is the link: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jrlitehiser. Do not make the donations through this website as they do not directly benefit JR and his family.

We are also providing information as we recieve it at: http://concretelocator.yuku.com/topic/6828/t/Sad-Day-Prayers-Needed.html

We have been very close with JR as he was not only a contractor but recently became a distributor as well. We talked everyday. Thankfully one of JR’s employees, Bill Hastings will be handling JR’s business while he recovers.

If you cannot make a donation, please pray for JR, his family and loved ones and for a speedy recovery. In addition, if you can take a few minutes and sign the guestbook on the Caring Bridge site it would help JR’s family.

Thank you for your time.
