How Can I Make Metrocrete More Useful for You?

My goal with Metrocrete is to report on products related to concrete and coatings that will help your property become more valuable.

I have found there are other things at work here. Some companies whose products I have featured are teaming up with others to create new business together. For example Greg Smith of Permacrete and Tamryn Doolan of Surface Gel Tek both have their products being used at the new Yankee Stadium. They discovered this through Metrocrete and are working on numerous projects together.

I’d like to know your thoughts about Metrocrete. I have a few questions. You can answer below by clicking the comment tab.

1. Why do you read Metrocrete and do you find the videos on www.metrocrete.tv helpful?

2. What kind of information about products, manufacturers, distributors and contractors would be helpful?

3. What do you like and dislike about Metrocrete?

4. Would you like to know how to create a blog for your company and learn how internet marketing can benefit your business?

5. Tell me about you. Are you a manufacturer, distributor, contractor, architect, homeowner or commercial property owner/user?

6. What do you think could make Metrocrete better?

7. What topics would you like to know about?

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Just click the comment tab below and let me know you thoughts to the 7 questions.

    Ed, #1. I still haven’t click on a video. I promise I will, but my life….
#2. Information good and bad is needed and your blog seems to cover the good really well. Bad normally, isn’t due to product failure, but more often related to improper use including prep. Mfgrs would benefit greatly if they were kept in the loop on the real reason thier product failed.
#3. I like the wide variance of information. You have discovered how so many other industries play into decorative concrete. I like that you do that and tie them into the deco concrete world.
#4. Yes I’d love to have a productive blog but I wear too many hats already.
#5. I’m a manufacture of gelled products for concrete surface prep and decorative etching. I also create unlimited graphics.
#6. I’d like to see blogs on each of your advertisers, what do they see as thier specialties, exciting projects they are involved in, contractors they really like to work with, weather conditions that are different from AZ and how they deal with it, things like that.
#7. I’d like to know about any new colorants for concrete that have arrived on the market. I know Stardek has a new water based acrylic line that has a bonding agent in the mix. Are there any others? And what is the best sealers for these colorants.

I love your site and have watched many of your videos. Info on the pool deck was very helpful as I have an old pool and am happy to fix rather than replace!

My husband and I always learn something new and are now considering adding a concrete counter when we renovate our bathroom, which we had never thought of before reading your blog.

Interesting to read your piece on lighting. I would like to see more on that — do you have any more videos on that subject?

I read this site because we recently re-finished our back yard with new cement. We are considering an acid wash or other finish. Ed gives great information and advice.

    2. What kind of information about products, manufacturers, distributors and contractors would be helpful?

More information about what products are the best “bang for the buck”.

    3. What do you like and dislike about Metrocrete?

I really like everything you are doing. Keep up the great work!

    4. Would you like to know how to create a blog for your company and learn how internet marketing can benefit your business?

I’d be happy to continue working with you :)

    5. Tell me about you. Are you a manufacturer, distributor, contractor, architect, homeowner or commercial property owner/user?

    I’m an eCommerce expert.

    6. What do you think could make Metrocrete better?

Just keep up the great work.

    7. What topics would you like to know about?

    Yankee Stadium!

My Question is to Suburban dweller. I have a question about the video you watched. I seen alot of viedos out there but I am not really sure about videos and Do-It-Yourselfers. My husband does alot of concrete work. He has purchased a couple of videos, but they really don’t mention the real details of the job that is being prepped ect..Would you recommend the video on pool decks that you watched to me? Now that my husband has extra time I would like him to repair the pool deck.
