Joe found that Polyaspartic garage floor coatings resisted these factors for a few reasons.

1. Floor Prep- When a floor is grinded, it smooths and levels the surface eliminating impurities while opening up the pores of the concrete.
2. Polyaspartic Application – Polyaspartics absorb into the concrete and cure fast becoming part of the concrete. This unique feature prevents moisture pressure and salts from traveling upwards through the concrete. Risk of delamination is minimized.
3. UV Resistant, Non Yellowing, Chemical Resistant – Ultra Violet Rays do not yellow polyaspartics. They resist salts and chemicals and are easy to clean. When polyaspartics scratch, like with every surface, the scratch is a clean straight line. Many garage floor coatings when scratched fray like scratched plastic. A frayed scratch traps dirt which is why many coatings look dirty within a few months. When a polyaspartic floor is cleaned the dirt comes out of the scratch because it is clean and straight. Hence the floor looks new prolonging the life of the garage floor.
