HakanWear Painters pants

Back in the days when I specialized in applications of decorative concrete products, I well remember how hard it was on my knees. my crew and i would go to the box of knee pads which could be attached with velcro. Even if we could find two that matched, they never stayed on well and would slip and slide around. Imagine my excitenmenent when I met Swedish decorative painter, Hakan Engstrom, at a recent expo.

Hakan has developed a unique stayle of painters’ pants that can be used by decorative concrete applicators and artists alike. These are not your typical stiff, one-siz-fits-all, painters’ pants that you will find at your local hardware or discount building proucts store. Hakan’s pants you will find extemely reliable, comfortable and are made of 100% cotton. What makes these painters’ pants truly special is their functionality. The pants feature multiple pockets to hold a variety of tools — even your cell phone! They also come with special sewn-in pockets around the knee area for instertion of custom knee pads. No more slipping and sliding. Both the pants and the knee pads are machine washable – try doing that with those old plastic/velcro models!
